Challenges
It was the ultimate priority to install an efficient and reliable fire detection solution to protect life and property from the risk of fire.

Very high ceilings in the areas, as high as 28 metres in some places, meant installing pipework demanded the use of specialised equipment and personnel. Further, ongoing maintenance requirements meant devices needed to be accessible, allowing for the regular testing regime recommended by industry regulators.

Finally, ease of use and integration were crucial. As a commercial operation featuring a mix of both open and closed spaces, as well as the use of heavy machinery, the solution needed to connect with a wide range of external systems to ensure advanced safety features would activate in the event of a fire alarm.

Solution
The final system installation consisted of 3 Iris Adressable fire alarm pannels, 1 Repeater, 600 Optical Smoke Detectors SensoIris S130, 45 Fixed Temperature and Rate of Rise detectors SensoIris T110, 70 Manual Call Points MCP150, and 54 Wall Mount Sounders Senso Iris WSOU.
