Observer is local monitoring and administration software for compatible Teletek addressable fire alarm systems, including iRIS4, iRIS8, Simpo, and Simpo X. It supports individual or networked installations with up to 16 fire alarm control panels.

Operators can monitor panel, zone and detector conditions, identify fire and fault events, and view detailed information about the affected device. Observer also provides authorised control of functions such as buzzer silencing, sounder silencing, evacuation, reset and device or zone enablement. Architectural plans can be imported to create a graphical view of the protected site.

Third-party cameras can be integrated through RTSP for rapid video verification. The software also provides event filtering, printing and backup, email notifications, audible event signalling, multilingual operation and role-based user access.
