PAX MC1
PAX MC1 is a wireless magnetic contact for monitoring the opening and closing of doors and windows. It can operate directly with the EMA wireless control panel or through the PAX WL expander in hybrid security systems based on compatible Eclipse control panels.
In addition to its built-in magnetic contact, PAX MC1 provides one wired zone input for connecting an external wired magnetic contact. This makes it particularly useful for retrofit projects where an existing wired contact needs to become part of a PAX wireless or hybrid system. Internally, this wired-input capability has also been identified as the product’s strongest practical use case.
Bi-directional wireless communication provides jamming detection, encrypted communication channels and RSSI signal-strength indication. PAX MC1 also reports open/close status, tamper activation and low-battery events, with wireless communication specified at up to 1,500 m in open space.
