Protecting a diverse sports environment

Ice Palace Batumi includes a wide range of areas – from locker rooms and coach rooms to the ice rink and large swimming pool.

These spaces serve different purposes and may present different environmental and operational conditions. The fire alarm system therefore needs to provide suitable detection across the complex. It also needs clear identification of alarms and faults, and effective notification for athletes, employees and visitors.

Why an addressable solution was the right fit

The Teletek solution is built around an iRIS4 panel with three additional loop expanders, providing the capacity required for the extensive installation. The compatible SensoIRIS range brings smoke and heat detection, manual activation, alarm notification, monitoring and control together within one coordinated fire alarm system.

The combination of optical smoke and heat detectors also allows the detection method to be adapted to spaces with different conditions. Meanwhile, the large number of SensoIRIS input-output modules provides flexible interfaces for monitoring signals and controlling other equipment according to the project’s fire-safety strategy.

The project demonstrates how Teletek’s addressable technology can support large sports and leisure facilities by combining scalable control equipment, precise device identification and flexible system integration.
