Tashub Residential is a 27-storey residential tower in Tbilisi, Georgia, with an additional three levels of underground parking.
Together with our partner Intelectro, we delivered a residential tower fire alarm system designed to provide coordinated detection, alarm notification and system control throughout the high-rise development. The solution is built around two Teletek iRIS8 fire alarm panels and includes more than 1,580 addressable field devices.

Protecting a high-rise residential development
A building of this height requires coordinated protection across residential floors, shared spaces, technical areas and multi-level underground parking.
The fire alarm solution therefore needed sufficient capacity for a large number of devices, precise identification of alarms and faults, and flexible monitoring and control capabilities across areas with different functions and conditions.

Why the solution was the right fit for Tashub Residential
In a 27-storey tower with three underground parking levels, responsible personnel need to identify more than the general area in which an event has occurred. The addressable architecture allows each connected detector, manual call point and module to be identified individually, providing clearer information about alarms and faults throughout the building.
The two Teletek iRIS8 panels, supported by 14 loop expanders, provide the capacity required for an installation with more than 1,580 addressable field devices. This scalable architecture allows detection, manual activation and alarm notification to operate as part of one coordinated solution across the residential and underground areas.
The extensive range of SensoIRIS input and input-output modules also provides flexibility for incorporating additional monitoring and control functions according to the project’s fire safety requirements. Wall sounders with strobe indication support both audible and visual alarm notification throughout the development.
The project demonstrates how Teletek’s scalable control equipment and compatible SensoIRIS device range can support high-rise residential projects that require extensive device capacity, precise event identification and flexible system integration.
