PAX MC2
PAX MC2 is a wireless magnetic contact for detecting the opening and closing of doors and windows. It can operate directly with the EMA wireless control panel or through the PAX WL expander when building a hybrid intruder alarm system with compatible Eclipse control panels.
Beyond its built-in magnetic contact, PAX MC2 includes two additional wired inputs. One can connect an external wired detector, while the second supports a roller shutter detector. This makes the device useful where an existing wired contact or roller shutter needs to become part of the wireless system.
Bi-directional wireless communication provides jamming detection, encrypted communication channels and RSSI signal-strength indication. The device also reports open/close status, tamper activation and low-battery events.
